Theres several messages in the instrument cluster. Most dealing with diesel exhaust fluid. Telling you how many miles till the tank is empty, some saying "engine shutdown in xx seconds". If you use improper fluid, it'll tell you. Theres even an "environmental sensor" in the pass side outer mirror. Problems with the dpf if the wrong oil is used. B20 is permissable.

CAC is water cooled.
Wow, a real TA finally in a pickup, instead of TAAC. Are they using a "seperate circuit" for the aftercooler and the oil cooler or common circuit? Your answer may explain the HP/TQ numbers that are rumored.

Vince, I understand that there is a line heater for the DEF since it can freeze. Is there also a heater for the DEF tank? If the DEF tank and line are frozen it's going to be a few minutes before the truck will do anything more than idle, right?

Theres a heater in the tank as well. Theres an auger that drains the lines after shut off to keep the lines free. Remember, urea is caustic.
