My 1986 v8 bronco decided to not start today. I have replaced the ignition switch already but the shifter is stuck in park. I don't know what is wrong. Anyone else had this problem?

Can you describe what is happening a bit more, as in no crank, did the shifter move before you did the switch, key turn hard or real easy...

You got brake lights? You need the brake on off impulse to operate the shift lockout.

Brake lock out didn't start until 94

I bet he pinched something when he put the column back up from replacing the ignition switch

You have to turn the key to pull it out of park. You probably got something wrong in the mechanism there.
