F1 gauge options

Our 50 F1 project needs gauges. There's no original cluster in there. Just a few cheap aftermarket pieces that don't work.

Looking for ideas.

Parameters:
- We are 12 volt with the chevy 327
- No desire to stay true to anything... heading further towards rat...no plans to stay all original
- But we love the look of the original cluster. Have seen a couple on eBay and thinking of trying to make those work.

Thoughts?

Depends what you are willing to spend. There are quite a few gauge makers that have looks like the old stuff, and then the electronic/mechanical/gps speedo. Dakota Digital has a growing number of vintage looking gauge sets, Autometer does as well, then there is Classic Instruments among many others.

Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it!

Or find an original from another truck. You can get Runtz voltage reducers to make the 6v gauges work with a 12 v battery supply.
