Got to lookin at the codes on the door tag of my new truck and the axle code is 39. I have a set of shop manuals for 85 but 39 aint in em. Trucks an 86 F-250 HD 4x4 with a 460. I believe its a full floater sterling but when I was lookin at the brake diagrams they dont show any for a full floater sterling just full floater Dana or semi float sterling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

39 or 89 ?

In 1986 code 39 = 3.55:1 6250 lbs Dana 61

Theres no drain plug in the cover its in the housing.

It has the bigger studs on it but im wonderin if it mightve been a dually axle considerin how long the studs are and how long the hub is.

It does have a lock right locker in the rear so maybe the old rear end blew up and they swapped this one in?

Guess I jumped the gun cause I got that axle guide saved in my favorites. After drivin it more it does have highway gears in it and the ratios are matched. Its also a goat four wheelin and does awesome donuts.
