Oil pressure questions

When I fire up the car, I have killer oil pressure. As it warms up it pretty much goes to crap and only decent oil pressure is at higher RPM.

I have a mechanical gauge, and my question is do I need to bleed the line of air or do I need to look deeper?

You shouldn't have to bleed it.

Heat....viscosity drops as the engine warms up.

Could be excessive bearing clearance.
Everything measured in spec when I did the bearings, old and new bearings were within thousandths of each other, no scarring or any other visible damage, old bearings had even wear, and there's no abnormal noises on cold starts to indicate an issue.
Heat....viscosity drops as the engine warms up.

But to only have 10-15lbs while cruising...

That is very low...did you check the pressure with another gauge?

Two different gauges, same result. Cold start PSI is around 60-65PSI

There is a slim chance it could be the pump....but normally it's clearances which start to show as the oil heats and thins

Nice...that's a decent price as well.
