'77 F-250 Custom 4x4
I have a couple questions about steering columns.
First off, I'm pretty sure my upper bearing in my steering column has bought it.
Every time I turn the wheel, it makes an awful grinding noise and it is getting harder to turn as well.
Does anyone have a part # for the upper column bearing?
This is for my late '77 F250 with manual transmission (not a highboy).
Also, does it take a different bearing than the same year truck with an automatic column?
Lastly, what is the easiest way to change it?
This truck is my daily driver and I need to get it fixed as soon as possible!
