Tonight I got out there and put the transgo shift kit in the C6 VB. I'll put the VB back on the trans sometime this week aswell as get the crossmember moved, hope to have the transmission bolted in the truck this weekend.

Well I got the transmission crossmember trimmed, and bolted in today. Hope to have the transmission in, and maybe even set the cab on this weekend... maybe... 

Also a new goodie showed up tonight.

Do I spy a spool?

Yup, going with the same 9" full spool I switched to in my 77 after the Mini split in half a couple years ago. Figured I'd just skip the Mini step with this one.

Well transmission is officially in and bolted to the engine. 



Tomorrow morning the plan is to setup the 9" housing with the spool. Then once I am able to get a little help I hope to try and set the cab on the frame.

Well I was able to get a little help fairly early this morning, so I got a little somewhere with the truck. 









Cab is in place, just need to snug it down. I didn't get to the rearend because when I pressed the bearings on, they decided to self destruct so I got fed up with it and set it to the side.

Got the spool in and setup, new pinion seal aswell. Axle is officially ready to be bolted in whenever I get around to it.

Got the 8.8 and stock leafs out, and the 9" and 4" lift back in.

Jacked up to get the 8.8 out

And the 9" with 4" lift bolted back in.
