F100 CV swap

I see many guys doing this swap, and it seems that nearly all of you mention boxing in the frame. We used the tubes from the crown vic on my '62. Ready to set the engine in, but first....is it necessary to box in the frame? Or is that something you do strictly for looks? I've studied over it and see no gain structurally from doing so. Tip? Reason?

I've attached a pic of our set up. Thank you in advance.

Ive seen it done on car shows ,but I think they do do it for added
strength do to torqing down the bolt studs.

I don't remember them boxing the frame ,but I think thy had
put sleeves in where the bolt goes through the chassy to keep
the bolts stable an the chassy from concaving.

I would definitely get some other opinions on it though to be
on the safe side!...:)
