2011 Ford Escape v6 throwing a code of p144a. Read a little bit about it doing a internet search and it seems it has to do with purge valve evaporative canister.

Something I can fix myself or does it need to go to the dealer.

You could probably do the manual labor part of it, but theres some prior tests involved looking at pids and other scanner data.

Blockage in the evap hose between the FTP (fuel tank pressure sensor) and the fuel tank, Or a defective evap solenoid.
