3.0 second hand ranger 86K on it
thing drove great when i bought it and ive been feeding it a diet of Hess , Wawa , or other lower end gas and in the last couple of thousand miles its started pinging mostly at highway speeds .
Decided to put a tank of Hess Super in it the other night and miraculously the pinging disappears. This is a flex fuel truck so its suppoused to run on anything remotely resembling gasoline so my question is being this truck doesnt have the typical distributor on it how do i get this thing to stop pinging because im sure as hell not putting super in it all the time
