Love the bucket dust collector. I've also seen lids for trash cans that turn them in to a cyclone collector. Do it yourself is always more fun to me.

Parts sure cleaned up nice with the soda blaster.

they have a cyclone dust collector you can screw to the top of a 5 gal bucket but they go for between 30-60$... but the DIY was much cheaper..

Well got the swing arm off so i can soda blast it and get it painted with primer but not doing that today. Did pull the fuel valve off the tank so i can work on the interior of the tank. Then cleaned up the outside of it. Someone told me if i could find the tank itd be roached out and lucky to hold any fuel. Looks in excellent condition to me. Not rotted out and once i cleaned it up the paint looks brand new.

Inside the tank. Just some light rust and dried out fuel residue.

Before i cleaned the tank..

After a bath

First round of buffing

2nd round of buffing..

Final buff and waxed..

pretty good reflection...

didnt realized i moved with that pic..

then i polished up the gas cap...

still a little pitted but age got to it some...

had some more fun with the blasting cabinet...

cleaned off the battery box, the retainer for the battery tray which grabs onto one of the cross tubes.. and the swing arm for the back tire...

figured since they painted it originally with some rusty red colored primer id do the same thing.. Painted it with Red Oxide Primer..
