The Dent "Parts" We Find

you might be able to sleeve it but the amount of rust in the holes you would have to take a lot of metal off the walls to get through the pitting and the crack on the mount boss would worry me as its on the driver side where all the tork is i would find a better boat anchor for the money i would bet the seller has already checked it out if it could be fixed or not and with a 427 in the $15000 to 20000 range mmm i would bet not

Cool thread! :)
I wanted to post this last night but decided not to,
but now there's a place for it...

What do you guys think of that?
I see scrap yard money, what do you see?
It is worth fixing even if it were free?

I'm not good at this yet, but does that look like it'd fit a 351w? :)
What do you think about mounting an outside-clutch-slave-cylinder to it?

The bell housing is in good shape and the thro{w}out fork is like new.

edelbrock street master Intake. Are street masters any good?

http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/pts/1544983128.html

The streetmasters were a decent Intake in the day, and that day was in the 70's. Back then the intakes from Edelbrock went from the SP2P (economy/performance) to the Streetmaster (where the performer/performer rpm are now) then Torker and Victor and beyond.
Streetmaster in power is a bit better than the current performer but a bit
less than the RPM performer.
Hope that helps
