parts

Hey guys - new to forum.
Just purchased a 1951 f1 all original with 45K miles.
The drum brakes need to be replaced.
Can you guys recommend and online company that is easy to deal with and has the parts I'm looking for?

Welcome!

Sacramento Vintage Ford was my go-to 15 years ago when I built mine.
Local Napa if you have one where they still have paper reference books - they carry a lot of parts for your F1. Brakes are similar to any other drum brakes.
The front drums are getting hard to find. Back drums can use stock I think up thru '86.

1948/52 F1; 1953/67 F100 have 11" x 1 3/4" rear brakes.

1968/79 F100; 1975/96 F150; some 1980/83 F100 have 11" x 2 1/4" rear brakes.

Some 1980/83 F100 have 10" x 2 1/2" rear brakes.

A8TZ-1126-A .. Rear Brake Drum / Obsolete = 1948/52 F1; 1953/56 F100.

Thanks Bill... good to see you around! I put a 9" under mine and I've forgotten a few things I used to know
