47 dually rear brakes

So I wrestled the dually tires off, painfully and ineptly. Nonetheless, I'd like to start rebuilding the brakes, bearings and associated parts which I might readily buy. Can anyone suggest the right shop manual I should buy to guide me along??? something specific to my vehicle not general purpose stuff.
Thank You,
BillyD

They can't be much different than the brakes on my 48 F6. Between NAPA and a local big truck shop you should be able to find what you need. Also, online check with Joblot Automotive in NY for big truck parts.

Sorry, I don't know of a shop manual that specifically covers '42-'47 trucks.

For getting your tires/wheels apart, I found NAPA carries a "porkchop" tool that makes separation of outer/inner much easier.... well that and a 6' piece of pipe to use as a cheater.
