Idle Speed

Hmmm... I don't know the number but the tachometer reads about 750rpm
on all the gas EFI's I've driven. Seems like the Service manual sez 650rpm?

Wayne, what's yours doing, acting like etc?
What's the RPM at idle?
Got your TPS (report;) voltage at less than 1 volt?

-------------------

I had three used IAC's and all three acted bad and all three had their own
set of bad traits and good traits. One had a low coil resistance and when
I swapped it off its like-new (74K factory original) valve body and put-on
a coil that's resistance was within spec... that IAC is working good. LOL :)

Depends on if it's auto or manual trans, doesn't it?
Yeah, it used to back in the old carburetor days but I don't believe
that's true with my three 5.8s... 2-'91s+E4OD and '90 F250+ZF.

Swapped the F250's EEC over to the Bronco and it was the same as
I was used to in the '91 F150.

That's all I know about it. I'd look it up for you guys but that E/E-D
book is heavy. ;) Actually it's just an all day project to find anything
in it is all.
