Back in the Ford truck family!

Hi out there! After about a year's absence I just acquired a 1979 F150. A friend of mine who scraps cars sent me a couple of photos and $200 later I bought it. Looks to be fairly straight for it's age. I'm guessing it's a 302/351, non A/C and from the 2 shift rods I see at the steering column, it might be a 3 on the tree! I can see manual brakes and power steering. Can't wait to get it going! (The junk in the bed didn't go with it)

Thanks!! I do believe I have a 3 on the tree, with 2 shift levers at the steering column (see inside the white circle). Plus the fact it has power steering, but manual brakes is interesting, and non A/C too. I think I scored pretty good!

Looks like a great project! Glad it's getting saved, far to many of these went into the crusher. And I suspect you are correct on the 3 speed. My 73 is 302/3spd, no power steering or brakes, and it's a blast to drive. Rides like a caddy.
