2003 f250 tailgate replacement

I once saw a Gen. 10 F-150 with a Gen. 2 Super Duty tailgate (The one that says Super Duty on the bottom) and it did not look right.

1999-2011 Super Duty gates will fit. If you use a 2008-2011 gate on a 1999-2007 you will have to change the drive side hinge. Other than that its a direct bolt on.

Some F150 years will fit as well but Im not sure on the years.

I can get new tailgates and I have the hing here.

Yes he is correct. I have a f-150 tailgate on mine. I think the new ones will fit off a f2250 / 350 too. I want one of those "Superduty" tailgates. dealer wants 600$
