2001 F350 Superduty Crew tire question

Hi just purchased a 2001 F350 Superduty Crew Cab, v10, extended. It has a 6" lift, and currently 315/75/R16. I am looking to buy a used set of wheels and tires -- Continental LT 275/70 R18 Load Range E and just wanted to make sure they will fit this truck, and make sure load range E is adequate.

Can anyone give me an idea about these tires.

Thanks

Well you'll be dropping from roughly a 35x12.5 tire to roughly a 33x11 tire. It might look a tad goofy with that much lift. But you mpg's should increase. And load range E should be more than adequate for anything you wanna put that truck through, E range is typically a 10 ply tire and there aren't many out there with stiffer sidewalls.

Thanks Ben,
I just wanted to make sure they would work since the wheels and tires are off a 2006 F350. They will definently look goofy. I am driving to the midwest and could use the mpg for the price of these tires.

thanks again.
