V8 Flat Head 1950

Hey I have a 1950 V8 Flat Head engine that is seized as well as the Transmission still attached. is it worth trying to sell or should I scrap it? If you recommend selling what should I be asking?

I am replacing the engine with a 72 Ford 360. so I wont need parts off it.

Thanks Kellen

I'll tell you what happened to me. I thought my v8 flathead was seized too, except when I separated the trans from the engine, the engine then turned over by hand. Maybe worth a try. As far as value, most unknown condition flatheads go for $100. Knowing they spin by hand , about $200. Knowing they turn over by bumping the starter, $300, knowing they run, about $500. Transmissions are not valued as much, unless it's a flathead T98, then maybe you'll get $200 for it. Otherwise, most old crashbox 4's (T9's) are about $30, and synchromesh 3 speeds maybe more.... and that's if they work.
