Newbe

Hi All,
Just found this site & love it. smilieFordlogo
Been a ford owner for about 17 years. I now own a 2004 Excursion 6.0 Diesel and love it. We had a F150 Crew Cab but I needed a little more pulling power when the wife and I bought a 32FT offshore boat.

The other day I got a code (P2285) " ICP sensor disconnected, open circuit, or shorted to ground". The problem I have is I can't find out what the ICP is or were it is located much less what it looks like to pull it out and test it?????
Does anyone know where I can find out this info? I have a HAYNES repair manual but it does not have any info concerning the ICP sensor. Also what does ICP stand for????? :headbang:

Injector Control Pressure. Depending on when your 04 was built, it may be behind your turbo (with the IPR) or on the front of the passenger side valve cover.
