Hello everyone, I have a 1995 f150 2wd 4R70W truck. My trans is doing the old shuddering while shifting. A friend of mine has a new trans out of a 4wd Bronco. My question is can I swap the tailshafts on the transmissions and use the 4wd trans in my 2wd? Thanks.

If you rebuild the trans, sure! The output shaft needs to be changed, and that requires it to be dis-assembled.
