I fell in love today ..... sadly unrequited though

I dropped our girls off at the airport in Christchurch early this morning and as we had to leave at 3 am my wife decided to stay at home which meant i could go look at the Ford dealers yard - i fell in love/lust with this

The $112,000 NZD would be about $94,000 USD. The other one would be about $68,000 US.

Dang, that's (prices) a decent little home up in this area!

I need to get into the export business... What model is the last one?

Hi Austin that last one is a Ford Territory - Ford designed plus build them in Australia . Very nice car to drive especially the turbo sixes but the v6 turbo diesel isn't a slouch either and its a lot more economical.

Cost about 45-50k to convert one here, I still see 08-09 trucks for 100k+

Hey if you want to buy it Andy i'll do the test drive for you (should only take a couple of months) and organise the shipping for you.
Seriously though if you want it Andy the best thing would be to fly over here buy it in your name and leave it here for 12 months then import it and you'll be able to claim it as a personal import and escape the gst and import duties ..... i think you'll have to hang onto it for a while though as the govt would try and claw back some duty if you sold it too early.

Try looking at Walton special vehicles for the conversion process but there are other companies in the north island that do these conversions and they do a good job too.

It never ceases to amaze me the prices you all have to pay to enjoy the trucks we take for granted. Makes the 06 cc/sb with a 6.0, and 97,000 miles for $15,500 I was bone hawking on Craigslist seem like a freebie.

Wow. I was looking at an 08 250 exactly like that first one, and cringed ad the $30k price tag. lol.

Haha. Oops. Didn't see the date on this til I clicked submit.
