thanks for that i probly shoulda check that first huh? thanks again, awesome truck you hot there Ben too by the way

Not a problem, and to be honest I was shocked his truck wasn't in this thread. This is usually the thread to be to show off your rig because it's easier for others to look through than thumbing through everyone's galleries. And thanks for the compliment, I love my rig.

**56K Warning**

Sorry guys, but as Ben said, it's been really hectic at work and since they have been axing people left and right, my eff off time at work has diminished. Here's Blue - no creampuff like the others in this post but I like mine well ridden and always put her away wet/muddy...been wanting to take more of her actually doing stuff, but when I last took her out it was pitch black (2 AM) and were were all pretty rip roaring drunk. The last few were taken from my youtube video just so's I could post different pics than what y'all have seen.

Great pictures. And the red, white, and blue theme with the toolbox is cool! YelloThumbUp

Very sharp man. Looks great, only a few tweaks I'd do differently. Regardless, if that a true vinyl top, or is that replicated Ford paint immitating a vinyl roof? Never been a fan of vinyl roofs, but it looks sharp on yours. And I'm also not a fan of paint matched grilles, but again, looks good on your rig.

A couple questions...

-why'd you go with the diamond plate behind the tires? Prevent chips?
-What's up with that windshield visor?
-What made you go with cutout flares?

Nice looking truck Ken.

-What's up with that windshield visor?

The visor looks to be the same as that new one I have. J+J out of Ca made those out of stainless steel and just stopped making them a few years ago. I bought the last one that they had in stock before they closed.

Let me know the tweaks....really interested. I'm interested in some ideas for the bed over the next few years. The only thing under the vinyl tonneau is spray on bed liner and was thinking diamond plate to match. What do you guys/gals smilietease think?

The vinyl top is TRUE vinyl. It was taken back to the prof upholstery shop 3 times because we wanted the stitching to be just perfect and it is!

Diamond plate to match the rails and the tail gate on the inside cover. The tailgate has the FORD letters cut out and is working lights with the tailights. The box created on the inside to hide the work was diamond plate and therefore used diamond plate on the rails, then on the bottom corner panel to match. I thought about putting diamond plate along the bottom of the rest of the truck, but I thought it might be too much bling.

It's not a windshield visor. It's a rearview mirror that has no blind spots. It has a series of 5 different mirrors to be able to see almost 180 degrees around the truck with one glance. Love it. The only problem with it is when I get into another vehicle and I'm used to seeing a whole lot more than they allow in one mirror.

Cut out flares were done by the previous owner. Not a huge fan of them. The buttons are a pain in the @ss and I have to replace buttons every now and then that come off.

Thanks. I've seen your trucks on FTE....love the stance!

Well since you asked...not a fan of that visor/mirror thing on the windshield. Not a fan of diamond plate anywhere at all on a vehicle. Not a fan of the cut outs. And I think Ford on the tailgate should be a different color, although I see you were matching accents. But those are just my preferences, you truck...if you like em, keep em. But it is a really sharp truck...and for some reason, I'm really digging the vinyl on the roof.

As for the bed, not sure what you're looking to do to it, but I'd switch to a 77-79 bed that has the square gas doors.
