03 original injectors

Got one of the 03 6.0s with original injectors. The other 6.0 tech has been working on it for 2 weeks for loss of power. He went to training, and I had to fix it. First start up, it had 2 injectors dropping out. Replaced them, next morning, two more!

How many miles on the truck. and when your good you get all the dirty work.

Sounds like when he gets back from "training" you need to spend some time and teach him what he really needs to know to work on the 6.0

did you reprogram the truck with the inductive flash?
The young tech (too much Dr. Pepper) has replaced the turbo, MAF sensor, changed oil, reflashed, relearned (burned by the IDS glitch of erasing the relearn). Never did check power balance while cold on first startup.

Go figure, and FMC wonders why their warranty repair bills are so high :headbang:

Buy em books, send em to shool and you still can't teach em anything.:hammer:

Sounds like you need to take him asside when he gets back from training and teach him a few things :box2: :nutkick:

more parts you hang, the more money you make YelloThumbUp

Yeh, great for the repair tech and dealerships pocket book, unfortunately it ups FMC's warranty costs, so then FMC starts to scrutinize all customers repairs and deny warranty coverage to customers that have legitimate claims. Or try to void the whole warranty for an exhaust change.

This is a bad scenario all the way around. Poor repair practices, less than honest techs/dealers and lying/conning customers ruin it for the honest repair techs, dealers and customers. :headbang:
