Diesel Prices

What's the price of diesel fuel in your area? Yesterday I filled my truck and paid 220.9 here in the St. Louis area. I usually check with the Gas Buddy site for priceing trends.

Well... you are lucky.

It was running $2.39 - $2.49 on the Missouri side of the line and in Kansas was around $2.59.... but when I filled up yesterday at my local station.... it was a whopping $2.64/gallon (thank goodness I only needed 1/2 a tank). With an Excursion, I hold 44 gallons total capacity of diesel!!!

Unleaded was $2.29/gallon in my area in Kansas.... but real men drive Diesel's anyway!!!!

Yes... I think that was from McBeth.... Chapter 3, Scene 2... "and the strong will inherit those with gas... or at least ban them far, far, away."

I didn't know where that passage originated, I read it in my copy of Dieselweasel Quarterly...

$2.52 in Camdenton
about $2.65 in southern Florida.
