While we're on this topic...say your battery is dead, but it's a good 650CCA battery and a good 60 amp alternator. You get a jump and get it running...how long do you guys figure you gotta run it to fully recharge the battery?

Well Id run it about an hour it might not be fully charged but itll be enough to start it next time and itll eventually charge up if ya drive it.

Yeah I know as you drive it'll charge...and I know a 15 minute drive is good enough for a second start...I would just like to see how long it takes to charge different size batteries with different amp output alternators...maybe a new thread??????
