3G alternator conversion

So I have been looking into changing out my alt since it died on me. I have a 1975 F250 with a 360 in it. I think the original alt was something like 70 amps max. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to put a 3G alternator into this truck and if I should just a used 100 amp one from a 88ish taurus or if i should just buy a new one with 140 amps or more.:idea:

I know a user by the name UNRULEE has this setup from PA performance and he's posted info on it, so you may want to search that. I also believe a user by the name Texasnomad has done this and did a semi-write up about it. But hopefully someone will chime in with a how to for you.
