I would also be interested to see how they turn out. Heard about them,. never actually seen one that was installed.

Picture one is your typical Arizona dried out baked in the sun beat to *h*t
from the heat dash that usually has a carpet cover over it to hide the
dried out baked in the sun beat to *h*t mess......(this truck had one)

Now replace the carpet with a Dash Cap molded to fit over the
dried out baked in the sun beat to *h*t dash pad and this is what
it looks like. The only difference between this and a new dash pad
is the sound when you tap your fingers in the top
sounds like Plastic!

sure looks great looking out the windshield and not
the carpet that you know is really hiding the
baked in the sun beat to *h*t mess dash pad
the best 98 dollars i spent on this truck!

I have to say, looks pretty darn good to me! Iowa and South Dakota have not been kind to my vehicles either...

looks great nice work

We dont have many interior issues here. But we have these style trucks sitting with decent interiors due to rust . They just crushed 12 80- 87 F150's of them yesterday . They were picked over rust buckeys but interiors were there .

Now the 87 up interior parts other than seats r easy to find. I'm going to stock up on dash pads and stuff. Hey may be my toy money in couple years

Dash and door panels look great. Where did you end up getting the dash cover? I might be interested in doing the dash on mine.

Jc Whitney has the best price + free shipping (it's a huge box)
the Mfg. is Accuform.
I had bought one for a 1985 Mustang
and liked it so much i decided to get one for the 84F150
You have to use a razor to trim the high areas and fit the cap
till it's on flat like a second skin

they even provide the glue This is the bottom side as you can see
it covers the entire dash area. I ordered mine painted from the factory
This truck was a work truck and was treated like a an abused
Red headed step Truck (see...see what i did here hahaha)
no really it's on it's way to recovery.

Looks good man.I got lucky when I got my new interior, the dash topper was near mint.My old one was cracked to ****.I hate having this new one on though, cause i'm so afraid of it cracking.I might get a carpet cover for it to try and protect it a little more.

I see alot of guys that will pick over a truck for it's body and engine panels, but for me,I find alot of interest in the interiors. There's so many different options you can get in these trucks, and I wish I could just pull entire interiors out of all the junkyard trucks and keep them in a warehouse.

Stepside, what is the deal with the wood plank over your radio hole?
