What could it be???

All of a sudden my 71 F250 wouldn't start. Turn the key and nothing at all, not even a buzz. Out comes the test light. Thought it was the solenoid so I swapped it out..Nope...Pulled the starter and it bench tested just fine...Battery was old so I replaced it...Nope...New battery cables...Nope...New Neutral safety switch...Nope...

What else could it be?

Bad ignition switch?

Crazy ground issue?

Thinking of installing a push button starter to bypass the ignition switch.

Is there something I'm missing?

Probably the ignition switch ,if it mounts in the metal dash on your left side ,
make sure its tight an grounded to the dash!

Mine got loose an sloppy causing bad ground!...:)

Check the battery ground cable to the block and frame too. Make sure it's nice and clean. Take it apart, and sand all the surfaces. put it back together, and coat it with dielectric grease

So after replacing and testing everything it looks like a bad ignition switch. I installed a remote push button ignition switch and boom, starts right up.

Thanks for all of the replies and suggestions.
