1977 f100 351W

So I have a 1977 Ford f100 with a (what I think is an all stock) 351W. I got a mean knock on the passenger side of the motor and a tick on the driver side from the valve cover. Thinking about tearing it apart and rebuilding it. Any ideas or recommendations? Wanting to build something that moves a little quicker.

Welcome to the forum! I don't have much experience with engine block work, but that could be a piston issue. There's a lot of very knowledgeable people on here that will chime in!

Welcome to FTF! That's a sweet looking engine, too bad it's acting up on you. 351w's are easy to make faster, it's just a matter of how much you want to spend. :)
