Ok back at it again. So My truck is still young. But decides she need some tlc.
a3f4115ef8eab87397dd9e1e02941b91.jpg

So 349000 miles still had the original Hpop and Injectors.

So yanked all the injectors out and took pics cause they had 349000 miles on them they ran great just a little cold start and cold running issues.

12e315b5810c2255d1e0e43e96596202.jpg

So from the look of these they would have need to be reringed but other then that I think they were fine.

991176b6a4f16980b49130fef63c9992.jpg

So I had many choices of injectors(way to many) I actually had spent months reading and reading and reading. But I finally decided on my injectors.

299b977d46cbbdc8ae68a79e5b82a9a4.jpg

So I bought a set from Unlimited Diesel Performance They had good reviews and the warranty was great. So got a set of 160/stock nozzle Stage 1 injectors. Also the price was good to. They came in well packaged and have been really good so far.

So on the Hpop system. Of course I resealed the end rail plugs.

333d1eb5f38a116e8fee74499f715d76.jpg

So I went thru the whole research process again and had it narrowed down to 2 Hpop's. I choose the Dynoproven Baby Badger pump. It ended up coming down to price at the time. The badger was couple hundred cheaper at the time then choice 2. Well shortly after my purchase they went under(Of course they did).
2a71fd671b9fcb04760f31333ffed6a5.jpg

Well one day I came out of Lowe's and saw a puddle under my truck. Climbed up on core support and started looking for the problem and found this.

49409283456b3fe4261d9b0c61cbaa1b.jpg

So pulled the pump out. and inspected it not very happy at this point. The company was gone so no support or warranty. At this point it had less then 5000 miles one it.

dbac0f0f508acd4538050dc5dab79683.jpg

067a4146966fbf6ed906604097f91cd7.jpg

So I read u can press the pump back in with a large Clamp but after cranking on it as hard as I can it would not budge. So now what to do.

So decide it was time for option 2 that I had not choose because I wanted to save 200 dollars. Well that worked well didn't it. So called up option 2 And discussed my problem. And to my surprise they agreed to take my Badger pump as a core.

So Called Dieselsite up and ordered my Adrenaline Hpop. They got it out to me fast. Which was good I need my truck.

Well of course I pit the badger in a vise to remove the IPR valve and as soon as it broke loose the pump came loose from the vise and hit the floor bending my valve. This sucked since it was a new valve with less the 5000 mile on it. but I had my old valve as a back up so used the new coil on my old valve. And got her installed. And fired her back up. Then......

ff369a19b9852992bb686be5111f3c40.jpg

Well that's not good did I blow a line did I blow the Hpop up. Why is my oil on the floor.
85c94f7bfde272303a2f1b641913aa96.jpg

Well this is why all my oil was on the floor.

1051023796e27379481871501c9be428.jpg

So called Dieselsite up and told them what happened and they were very helpful and got me a replacement sent out that same day. Apparently some of the bores get worn and won't hold the sealing ball in under heavy pressure.

ed2e484e9d48faf71de8612fc488857a.jpg

So since I had the time I went ahead and ordered a replacement IPR just cause I still have the old one with the new coil as a spare along with a new spare. So got the new pump in and installed and fired her up and she runs great. So ends my Hpop drama hopefully so saving 200 may not pay off in the long run. It didn't for me at least.

Don't know why these ended up in the fuel system but I did upgrade the IPR wiring.

So what to do with this I had put a life time warranty carter pump on but just didn't want to mess with it anymore.

So time for some new stainless steel lines for my efuel setup. Installed new regualator and plumbed it in to the front of the heads. And plumbed new fittings and line to the rear of the heads. The ran new lines from up top and used the original ends to allow me to couple into the original fuel lines from the back.

5633b0f565cc673ed3fdabac4486f649.jpg

Installed a pressure gauge and set my fuel pressure to 63 psi.
fc53ad27ae2167bfeb4ce7d0ce809774.jpg

And then my gauge sprung a leak so had to remove it for now. So this was the simple part of the fuel system. And came out very well and has served me well for 5000 miles. Except for the pressure gauge.[emoji1787]

So couldn't do all this with out addressing the turbo. If anything was done to it it was done by Ford before 92000 miles. As that's when my shop took over all the maintenance from Ford.

So next up was some exhaust work. I had previously upgraded the down pipe and exhaust.

So noticed the exhaust manifolds looked to be leaking. So pulled them off to have them plained.
0360c39984fec573445b7ba2f48e0a47.jpg

All cleaned up ready to reinstall.
c88127a2fbc6f19bedd2ddb0a8902f00.jpg

Got a set of new bolts for the manifolds.

All bolted up sealing up nicely again. No gaskets just pure metal on metal sealing as they were meant to be.

What u think I was going put those old nasty uppipes back on. Got this set from DieselOrings. Bolted up nicely and are very good quality just not nice on the pocket book.

d60c8ea02063bae23dd1c43b544f62bf.jpg

So Like was said exhaust was upgraded before the big upgrade. So its not shiny anymore. Came with a 3 inch down pipe and 4 inch exhaust with muffler. It originally went over the rear axle and out the passenger side. But with the new rear fuel tank that's was not possible anymore with out a custom tail pipe so I choose to dump the exhaust down in front of the axle. The first attempt was not a success as it cooked my swaybar bushing so added an extension to dump it straight down on the ground and has worked great for now.
