I have a 2001 F250 Reg cab/2 wheel drive I bought several years ago and have had very little issues out of so far. Tires, brakes, oil were the only things I have had to do in my 6 years with the truck.
This year I decided to change spark plugs/boots/spring wires, thermostat, both radiator hoses, o2 sensors, fuel filter.
I ran into a slight problem yesterday when my brake pedal went to the floor. Luckily I was at home but it appears my truck has suffered a common problem of brake line ruptured near the fuel tank.
My truck had 37k on it when I bought it and now has 69k. Is there anything else I should consider changing if not for miles but for age?
Any tips on repairing the brake line? (I have not searched yet but will be doing that after submitting this thread)
