It was a beautiful day today and i figured it was time to tackle my wheels. Winter was not good to them! They were spotted and oxidized pretty bad. I picked up Meguiar's new polishing cone and some Busch Super Shine Aluminum Polish just for the task. The polishing cone was BADASS. It is VERY durable and can fit nooks and edges better than a Powerball (on wheels anyways). Took me ALL day to get them shiny, then washed the ol girl and went for a casual drive to snap a few pics. I love it, havnt been able to take any good pics of the truck lately.....but its on now!

Also painted my drums and rear axles with some satin black. going to go pick up a few more cans to do the whole underbody soon as well as get some high temp paint for my exhaust. took all the pics on my Android phone

thats one reason why i run steel rims (off a '01 jeep wrangler) during the winter. my stock '93 alloy rims look pretty good for their age, ive never ran them in the salt. i do have to paint my reese hitch every spring though. dont know how many more years the hitch has left, the metal is delaminating a little each year. some day its just not going to be safe anymore to use. for my rear drums i use a rustolem "hammered" finish. i forget the name of the color but the finished look looks like brand new cast iron. winter wheel-

your red truck does look better overall than my old-iron green-machine. -
