Post a pic of your Bronco

Many of the dangged ol' Photo-bucket pictures are MIA. ;)

Here's the story on my '91 Bronco...

---------------
Copy of the Craig's List ad...

1991 Ford Bronco Eddie Bower - $700 (tucson)

Runs, Drives, Stops, needs a coupler in the steering column.
Has new steering gear box and a new starter in it. Steering
wheel removed but you can use vise grips to steer. Customer
abandoned it here and we need to get back what we have
into it. Either use it for parts or file for a title. 5.8L v8.
automatic, 4x4, descent rims, interior is really nice. Dash
has no cracks, interior is all there nothing obvious as far
as damage or wear. Call 272-xxxx

Location: tucson

I messed around for about 2 years waiting to find a nice '90 or '91
in white or some light color with a manual but that was not going
to happen so gave up and went for a cheap one with the idea I'd
make it manual, using an F250 parts truck.

Here's four pictures of it when I got it home...

It had 124,883.2 miles on it but I returned the odometer to zeros. :)
I'm not ever gonna sell it so it don't matter to anyone but me.
Wrote that information in pencil on the back of the speedometer
housing tho. :)

I walked up to it, looked in here and told the seller "I'll buy it! :)"...

PO threw the tread off a tire...

Straightened it out but it's still not fixed, I'm not a "body work guy". :/
Desert rats like me tend not to know how to do body work. :/

Here's a sweet picture... ;)

Looks good Alvin - i'm hoping to convert my truck to a zf5 before i break the aod towing - i towed my furniture trailer back home with a full load 2 weeks ago and burnt $300.00 gas (approx 400 mile one way) as our speed limit with trailers is 90km/h - my choice with the aod is 2700 rpm in third or 1500rpm in od .... the wee 302 just don't have the torque to pull in od plus i don't think the trans would like it anyway.
What kind of revs are you pulling with the zf at 55 Alvin ?

That's a good question I'll check it against what the tachometer reads. :)

55mph in 5th = 1585rpm (calculated)
I guess that's the answer you were looking for?

I don't usually shift into 5th unless I'm going 65mph on the speedometer.
Hardly ever let it go below 60mph in 5th.

55mph in 4th = 2080rpm (calculated)

~31.5" tires, Michelin 265/75-16E's on 8" wide wheels at ~30psi.

Here's my notes I've typed out to help me figure out this crazy gearing
business... :)

...updated it today for a "GreyStreak" on FTE. :)

Cool picture! :)

I like that way better than a fresh waxed one like it's out of a Ford brochure.
(I'm just weird that way)

The trucks I've had the most fun-in, in my life, Ford wouldn't want any sort
of record of it (as in a picture of it). LOL :)

Which reminds me I need to take some pictures of what's left of my buddy's
'76 F350 stripped-chassis cattle-hauler. The front seat is gonna be a hoot.
Last time I saw it, it was plumb full of cholla buds! LOL :) Dangged pack rats.

cholla = choy-ya.
