My hours got cut back, my boss said that all he could promise me was 8 days a month, which effectively is a financial death sentence.

I am a Jack of all trades. I do light carpentry, electrical work, some plumbing, I do excellent sheet rock patches, finish carpentry, cabinet building, flooring repairs, dry rot repairs, roofing, just about anything. I worked for a general contractor who specialized in Kitchen and Bathroom remodels for over 3 years. Prior to that, I worked in management for new construction, and was a Handyman on the side. I also am a mobile mechanic. I am not officially licensed, insured, or bonded in any trade which I have experience in. I am just another guy caught in the wrong trade when the recession hit. I live in the Placerville area, about 45 minutes east of Sacramento, I would be willing to travel to the outskirts of Sacramento, and about an hour radius of my home in any direction. My rates are flexible, I am fair with what I charge. I have not had to sell off my tools yet, so as of now, I still have my own tools.

My name is Tony, I can be reached at (916) 275-6764. This is my cell phone, I can be reached just about anytime during the day.

Boring, Oregon
Suggestion- check online with local School Districts. Quite a few are hiring up here, and keep their maintenance/physical plant staff in-house.

I wont pass that thorough of a background check. I did something STUPID about 10 years ago, I won't even bother with embarrassing myself with applying for a state or county job.

[edit] The state of CA has instated a hiring freeze, and the county is not hiring either. Our state is brokeeeee

I was in the right place, but it must have been the wrong time
I was sayin' the right things, but I must have used the wrong line
I was on the right trip, but I must have used the wrong car
Head is in a bad place and I wonder what it's good for
I was in the right place, but it must have been the wrong time
My head is in a bad place, but I'm havin' such a good time

I've been runnin', tryin' to get hung up in my mind
Really got to give myself a good talkin' to this time
Just need a little brain salad surgery
I got to cure my insecurity

And I was in the wrong place, but it must have been the right time
I was in the right place, but it must have been the wrong song
I was in the right thing, but it seemed like a wrong wrong
'Cause I was in the right world,
but it seemed like a wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong

Slippin', dodgin', sneakin', peepin', hidin' out down the street
See my life shakin' with every who I meet
Refried confusion is a-makin' itself clear
Wonder where to, where do I go to get on outta here

'Cause I was in the right place, but it must have been the wrong time
And I was sayin' the right thing, but I must have used the wrong line
I took the right road but I must have took a wrong turn
I took a right move but I made it at the wrong time
I was in the right trip but I made it in the wrong car
My head is in a good place and I wonder what it's there for
'Cause my skull is in a bad place

That's all I have to say about that!
