I found it in the truck shop manual!
I had looked but couldn't find it before. :/
The rod is supposed to allow the full retraction of the piston.

I don't know how this stuff works really, never messed with an hydraulic
clutch system before... and here I am modifying one! LOL
So does the clutch master cylinder push rod completely release pressure
off the master cylinder's piston like the way a brake system's push rod
does?
Or does the rod retain some pressure against the piston's internal spring?
Not only did I change the rod length but I didn't mark the position of the
little crank the stud is on. LOL
Figured it'd be indexed.
Figured wrong.
No big deal if you guys can answer my one basic question tho.
