Offer them $6500 and settle on $7250.

Can't hurt to offer a really low first offer. I always thought so anyway.

We'll see about how low I can go... If I buy, I've gotta get a loan for a little of it. The lower the number the lower the loan, though!

I was waiting on a comment about your favorite wheels. smilieFordlogo

Funny how that works :D

It's funny later...not at the time....which reminds me...

Why are divorces so expensive?

Because they are worth it :D

Here's a 50/50 shot of the back seat so show where it was...

She cleans up alright.

Back seat is in pretty good shape...

Front passenger is pretty good.

Steering wheel needs replaced.

All that would need done (at least on the surface):

Exterior
- Front end fixed
- DS rear door skin repaired/replaced
- Tailgate handle replaced
- Replace two marker lights
- Sand and buff!

Interior
- Driver's seat bottom replaced
- Steering wheel replaced
- New headliner (because I don't like used headliners :D)
- Passenger & driver's arm rest recovered

All in all, the exterior is going to be the most costly... but I'm thinking I can pull it off pretty cheap. The interior can all be done through the shop I'm at for super cheap.

Drove the truck this afternoon. Everything inside works good, AC is awesome, blend door good, windows, locks, etc good.

Looks like something may have knocked it out of alignment (maybe when the damage was done to the front?), it tracks to the left a bit. Power steering is spotty and tugs at times. It can make it pretty hard to stay a straight path.

Transmission seems solid. Almost feels like the truck has a tune file; the shifts are firm and accurate, downshifts equally purposeful.

The engine is glorious, runs like a 7.3 should! I could realllllllly get used to the sound of that turbo.

Decided against buying the truck; I'd rather not have to do any mechanical work right away (as would be the case).

They did just get a 94 CC DRW 2WD 460 powered beast with 74,000 miles from an 80 year old gentleman.

AC works, 4 power windows, trailer brakes, goose neck w/ in bed wiring, tool box.

The only issue I see is there are no cup holders. :D

I know... if it had a PSD it'd probably already be in the driveway at home!
