Honestly dnt know much about the bigger truck engines, but for more power, you could always put an aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb, msd or mallary super coil, and good plugs, wires. Might as well do a new cap and rotar also. You could even put headers and dual exhaust if you wanted to. I dnt know what all youre wanting to do, but thats about all you could do without tearing the motor down for more performance.

I have no idea wht engine family that is, I dnt know if it's basically a 360/390 block or wht? you would need to know that for the intke and things of course.
