Picked up a 2006 Escape XLT for the wife. This will be replacing the Expedition. 90k, a few door dings but overall in pretty good condition.

Rear speaker/amp is not working so I pull up the rear carpet to get the panel removed and I see the probable cause of why its not working. Two bundles of speaker wire and cables. On the other side there a main power cable, and under the hood I find the large gold plated fuse all tucked away. Started removing all of the cables on pass side and see up behind head unit that it was spliced together will factory wiring. Ill save that could be mess for another day.
