I liked your last one I saw on LinkedIn rent vs buying a house...but, being in the situation I've been in the last couple years, I think a mini-series on the break even point of common rent/lease/buy scenarios would be really good for the general reader.

Not sure if you have anything on rental income...but something on investments properties, do it for the equity or do it for a profit.

And maybe a good generic budget. IE, how much of your income should be going to what on a monthly basis. I think you may have touched on that a bit in your 'how to get out of debt'...but an article on 'life after debt' I think would be helpful as well.

It would be nice to see the different 401K options. Some companies invest the 401k funds for you. My old company gave a myriad of options on what you invested(Low risk/low gain vs high risk/high gain. I'm thinking a general primer on how to go about balancing a 401k investment?

I think we're all missing the biggest article that should be written. How many truck parts can you buy and hide from your significant other, and if they do find them, how much can you get away with telling them you paid.

Thanks for the tips guys! I can't write Ben's most recent suggestion publicly, that's black market information.

Wrote these down in my handy-dandy notebook.

The first will be in a "when is the right time to buy a home?" and I'll throw in a rent/buy break even. That's a great addition to what I had in mind.

Investment properties is written down as a topic.

And I love the "life after debt" topic, from a budgeting standpoint, wrote that down as well.

401k balancing, writing that down. I have some outline notes for "how do I start investing" and maybe this topic will be a "Part II" drilling deeper into the topic. Thanks.
