Mmm yummy. :D

I'm not familiar with the process @ 32 seconds in. What exactly are you doing?

Camshaft break-in possibly? Never seen it done that way, and I would assume you would want the engine warm when doing that... Only other thing I can think of is general wear in of parts...

Not sure what's better the engine or the car!

I'm also interested in the events of 32 seconds, what's going on?

Its called a simtester it flows fresh oil through the pickup and then the motor just pumps it naturally like it would if it was runnin. I cant remember exactly what theyre used for but its somethin to do with the break in.

Simtest is correct!!

That machine is called a Simtester. That machine has paid for it's self many times over. It pressurizes the block with heated oil and has a triple filtering system. This allows us to break-in camshafts, pre-oil the entire system and check for leaks or bad bearing clearances. If there is excessive clearance, you can see the extra flow. The machine also has a flow meter to measure that.
We will use a thermo gun to check bearing caps for temp. A tight bearing will produce higher temps. Camshaft break-in is great, we can flood the oil galley area and turn the engine extremely slow. We are able to break-in our circle track engines with 1.8:1 rocker arms, flat tappet, .670" lift and small roller springs this way. We don't have to remove the inner spring or reduce the rocker arms. This saves us a lot of time and can catch a lot of possible issues. We will Simtest everything we build, there is no choice here. I have listed a few more examples of the simtester for you.
