Steering Components 1977 F150

Does anyone know if you can use the steering components from the 1978/79 F150 to replace the 1977 steering that is no longer available? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Which parts are you replacing?

If it's the steering box, as long as you match up 4x4 or 2wd, you should be good to go to use one from a 78 or 79.

All the other parts should be available as well.

I replaced the steering components on my 1977 Ford F 150 4X4 with stock 1979 parts, what you need is the pitman arm to make it work. change the pitman arm to a 1979 style and the rest of the components are just replace and go
