Got some new tools

My cordless tools are a mix of a few brands, battery types, etc and most were used when I got them. As such, I've been watching for a deal on a new set. Was in the store yesterday and saw this dewalt 20v set on sale for $349... Has drill, impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, and the work light that all the kits have plus two batteries and charger. Only downside is it's the compact batteries, not the XR but no more than I use them I think I'll be happy

Nice! Nothing warms the cockles of your heart more than new tools.

Nice.

Every time I use mine, I'm amazed how much I like having a little battery-powered circular saw- ripping a sheet of plywood without having to stop and fiddle with the cord is pretty cool!

I've been trying to decide on new batteries for my old set like that, or just buying that set.
Let us know how the batteries hold up when using them in projects please

Nice set of tools. I keep waffling on buying a set myself.

I see you spelled your name wrong.......... The circular saw will give the 2AH batteries a work out, but as far as the drill, driver and reciprocating saw they will work just fine. I found a set of 4AH on sale at Lowes for $99 last year and bought them. The circular saw lasts a fair ammount of cuts now before swapping batteries. I have the roto zip tool, brushless hammer drill, brushless drill, brushless driver, recip saw, oscillating tool, circular saw, and jig saw. I have a feeling with any serious use the hammer drill would benifit from the longer AH batteries as well. I will wait for them to go on sale again and pick up some more. I told the wife that I would do anything she wanted in the new house as long as she bought me the tools to do it. She is a very good listener with a long to-do list. On edit, all mine are the LiON batteries.
