Heads on a 4.6?

While changing a cracked manifold today I noticed 5.4L stamped on the side of the head. I'm assuming that they used the same head for the 4.6 and 5.4, or has a previous owner miss matched some parts?

Heads are all interchangeable. only major difference between the 4.6 and the 5.4 is the deck height on the block.
