My son's cubscout pack is teaming up with the local Carstar for their "Soaps It Up" national car wash fundraiser. It benefits the Make a Wish foundation. The child for their troop is a 7 year old boy from New Baden, IL. Here is the info.

Tickets are $10 and can either be purchased in advance or on the day of the event. The boys will earn part of the proceeds to use for their camps and scout activities.

This is a National event too so If you have a Carstar autobody shop in your area they should be having an event on the same day. I believe each shop has a child to sponsor.

For the members not from the area check with your local Carstar they should be doing a car wash of their own.

washed so many cars today my arm hurts and I didn't even stay the whole time. Pretty good turnout and the boys had a good time.
