after about blowing half my hand off in a freak accident this week, I have finally got the good weather and time needed to start again.








All that original stuff. Anyone interested in the coolant bag if I dont use it in the resto?

No more progress for a while. After blowing half my hand off, and having the follow up today, doc has put me on strict light duty. he wont allow me to even get my hands dirty. shit

That doesn't sound like much fun...and I'm guessing that from the Doc!..they get kinda funny about that kinda thing...

no fun at all, come monday I will know if the restrictions are being lifted or not. at least I got the suspension and brakes torn down. Im going to order components and hope by next weekend I can replace everything

they will come. I ordered all bushings for the front, shocks, and king pins. Going to salvage the brakes for the time being. Should be able to start the ole 240 this week and make sure it works before yanking it out. The C4 will be taken out too, and placed on the 351 to check the compression. Then the drive line will be rebuilt to handle the new power.

SOME PROGRESS!! Front suspension work, By next week everything should be replaced and refinished! Finally, after my hand accident, everything is working on track




One I-beam refinished.





The I-beam that hasnt been touched in 5- years, next to the half cleaned and refinished I-beam

I sustained another burn to my left hand, second degree, on the palm. Progress has not been up yet. Rebuilding the front suspension and pulling the C4 out of the truck tomorrow.
