I did some cuts on the armrest,I got to cut 2 more so I can pancake
2 peices together,then shape ,sand them.

No padding,the wood will have a clear coat on it,Ill just be glad that there
will be a arm rest.It feels funny not having nothing there...

Oh,im hoping to have some wood left over to do a cup holder..

Well.I can barely hear my engine run,its pretty quiet in the cab,but I have
just stock muffler.It is holy.It maybe a different ball game with high per-
formance exuast.
I dont hear no road noise.

I didnt use the regular automotive sound deadner,I used that foiled bubble
insulated bubble rap that they use on pipe.I think given that combined
with the coating,an carpet,it deadened the sound by 75%.

hmm darn.. was hoping you used summits or dynamat or someone like that.. figure after i get mine back from the body shop i wanted to line the inside with the stuff to reduce some of the diesels drone that bleeds through..

That dynamat must be pretty good,I see the guy's on the car builds use
it.But I dont know what the cost is.I can always get some later an redo
mine,nothing is glued down.
The stuff that I used was just laying around at work...an the idea popped
up in my head that I can use it for my floorboard... Its 2 sided foil
with air pockets in the middle...

Well,got my arm rest cut,an pancaked together.Now al I have to do is
shape them,put a final sand,clear coat,an install.
I will try to get one done soon...I felt like I done something productive
today instead of being a forum pig....
