Tropical storm could be coming our way. Spaghetti models are pretty much in agreement. Depends if it goes more over water or land as far as future development. Where's the party at? smiliegitrdone

Yeah looks like its heading our way now, perfect timing, just in time for the start of school.

The Cajun restaurant next door to me is owned by some folks that had their house and business down south levelled by Katrina.

By the time Katrina got up here it barely managed to wash my truck off.

There ARE one or two things I like about Memphis...

Sometimes, I think I'm too immune to them. I get prepared, but it doesn't really bother me.

I wish I could say the same about West Memphis. I am sooo thankful we finally got out of that place. I have way too many scars from being attacked in school down there.

I would probably be dead by now had my parents chosen to stay there.

Well, we were robbed. The tropical storm hit south of here and so far I haven't even seen one raindrop. It however is expected to hit the Atlantic, strengthen then make a turn. It may head back through here, or at JR and Mike or maybe even Jawja.

Well over here I wasn't expectin much but we secured everything down and threw all the lawn furniture in the pool to keep it from blowing around (I swear it wasn't to clean them :D ) and we didn't get barely any wind and just a light rain for a couple hours, nothing serious, supposed to be an actual hurricane once it gets back out over water to go hit Jax.

So how's everyone holding up, we didn't get much here, not even a whole lot of rain compared to what alot of others got, just got outta school 2 days and now gotta have a saturday football practice, worst part about this stupid storm.

yup, sucks cause now all the fields are flooded and we were all gunna go hit up the fields and do some wheelin but cant now, cant be going to practice with a hangover
