fisher plow mounting between the gens

A buddy of mi.e has a fisher minute mount leftover from a 2000 f350 he had.. unfortunately. He left all the wiring and push plates on the truck when he let it go.
can this set up be used on an 86. Did they have minute mounts for this generation? Can push plates be adapted some how from 88-96 set ups?? Thanks a bunch
oh btw this is for a 86 ifs 2wd, the truck the minute mount came from was 4wd.

Fisher may have the proper frame mount. They generally aren`t that expensive.
As far as swapping, 80-91 use the same frame horns, however 87-91 grills are closer to the ends than 80-86 so it can cause issues if you take a plow off, say a 85, and put it on a 88.
92 and newer are completely different though and will require alot of fab to switch over. I`ll let you know how it works out for me.
And Smokey has a very valid point about 2wd. I`ve seen guys do it, but they were duallys with alot of weight in the back. Better not drop the front tires off a ledge or in a hole, cause you`ll be stuck.
