Starter heat soak

Gonna go with newer gear reduction style and have been all over on line and seems to be quite a selection and price range...can anyone just recommend the best one/brand name for a 1970 F250 with a beefed up 390 in it

yes i have...i've seen quite a few posts about just replacing the starter....hard starting when hot...slowing cranking...new battery and original starter was just rebuilt

Ok...just checking, I know it can be a problem but I've also seen bad connections get way worse when heat is involved.

When I did research a couple of years ago for the engine I'm building, I was/am going with a Powermaster.
